Comics Meet Manga

Women Write About Comics is an online publication that covers comics and geek culture from an intersectional feminist perspective.

I was approached by staff writer Amanda Vail to illustrate an idea — she wanted to show that comics are essentially manga and vice versa to lessen the divide between the two. After she wrote the script, I translated it into a visual illustration and this short strip was born!
