This cookbook by Cynthia Nims offers 50 ways to eat crab from both the West and East Coasts. It includes background on crab species, information about seasonal harvest and sport crabbing, and kitchen tips to make the most out of crab.
This book is meant to be the sister book of Oysters, also published by Sasquatch Books. Design-wise, the goal was to keep the fresh feeling but have a different voice. I chose to do an evocative brush script that would allude to the meatiness of crabs for the cover as well as major heads in the interior.
