Independent Bookstore Day is a nationwide, annual one-day event to celebrate indie bookstores and the general love of books.

I was given two quotes to include:

I wanted to avoid the obvious by illustrating books, so I opted for succulents to allude to home decor, and socks and shoes as a representation of love affairs / relationships. I had so much fun with this project!
