FOR FANS BY FANS x CARE BEARS

I worked with For Fans By Fans and Care Bears to create a unique bear for their Day of the Girl charity event. All proceeds benefit Care (care.org) to help fight for bright and successful futures for girls everywhere!

Artists were asked to paint bears with a theme they cared about, and my theme was equality. I chose to go with a rainbow because it represents a spectrum — I feel like we’re all existing on so many different spectrums all at once, whether it’s our beliefs, personalities, genders, sexualities, or cultural identities. And that’s just to name a few! But however we are, at the end of the day, we are all equals to each other, and that’s what I care about.
