Long Story Short

This practical storytelling guide by Margot Leitman, comedian and winner of multiple Moth storytelling competitions, breaks a story into concrete components with ways to improve content, structure, emotional impact, and delivery through personal anecdotes, relatable examples, and practical exercises.

As the designer, I was asked to use a graphic approach so that the interior was more dynamic and engaging. To that end, I gave headings, sidebars, and instructions a hand-done feel and illustrated selected quotes from the author.
